Staffs FA County Youth Challenge Cup Round 2

Brocton were on the offensive from the beginning and were cutting Elford open at will and on 8 mins a neat passing move between Darby, Evans and Saunders saw the latter neatly finish for the first of his hat-trick.  Many chances were missed before Mulherin drifted round the back at a corner and side footed home.  On the verge of half time Saunders picked up a short     corner and curled in right footed from 20yds.

Brocton upped the pace in the second half and were more clinical.  On the hour MOM Saunders completed his hat-trick with a superb left foot screamer, again from the edge of the box. Three goals followed in 5         minutes from Barnard, Darby and Hobson.  Hobson had made a real impact coming on at 60mins and drove the game to Elford, he stuck twice more in the next 10 mins.  Mulherin bagged his brace 5 mins from the end to complete the route at 10 – 0
